Hi everyone! Now that we are well and truly into 2015, I thought I would quickly talk about some things that happened last year which I forgot to blog about!
Firstly, I was lucky enough to be included in the September 30th issue of the Mordialloc Chelsea Leader. The article was written by Jesse Wray-McCann who rang me up after school one day. I have to tell you, it never ceases to amaze me how reporters can weave the strange things that come out of my mouth into a credible piece of writing! Also, I had to get my picture taken in the staffroom while teachers were still eating lunch! Anyway, just click the button below and you can read the article yourself :)

Also, in October my grandparents and I attended an event intended to commemorate the leaving of the first convoy from Port Melbourne 100 years ago. The first convoy consisted of 17 ships. There was live music, loud parades, a historical re-enactment and a sound and light show. There were marquees everywhere which held everything from information booklets to knitted red poppies (the 5000 Poppies program), and at the end of the night, we were all given either a coloured poppy or a sprig of rosemary to throw off the pier into the bay with all of the wooden pylons.
